All-female slate of North Dakota state legislative candidates is running a high-quality TV ad

Since the population of the average state legislative district in North Dakota is significantly less less than the population of, for example, the population of the average state senate district in my home state of Illinois, it's, as far as I'm aware of, not common to see television advertising for state legislative candidates in North Dakota. However, the all-female Democratic-NPL slate of candidates in North Dakota state legislative district 17, which includes part of Grand Forks County in the northeastern part of the state, is running a high-quality television advertisement featuring state senate candidate Phyllis Johnson and state house candidates Monte Gaukler and Angela Urlacher engaging in conversations with voters:
In North Dakota, state legislative districts elect one state senator to a four-year term by plurality (i.e., first-past-the-post) voting and two state representatives to four-year terms by plurality-at-large voting. In even-numbered years in which there is no presidential election, odd-numbered legislative districts are up for election, with even-numbered legislative districts up for election in presidential election years. As a result, it is common in North Dakota for a state senate candidate and two state house candidates of the same political party affiliation within the same district to campaign as a three-person ticket, with the state senate candidate being listed before the two state house candidates.

I live in a state where TV advertising for state legislative candidates is more commonplace than in North Dakota, but the ad that Johnson, Gaukler, and Urlacher are running in North Dakota is one of the better state legislative ads that I've seen. The ad is particularly noteworthy for being one of the few political ads that I've seen where conversations with voters are actually depicted, as well as the usage of the term "new Americans" to refer to immigrants to this country in a positive light (which is good political messaging).
